Description

The ZJ and ZJP Roots vacuum pump is a rotary variable volume vacuum pump, also known as a mechanical booster pump. It is currently one of the main pumping equipment for obtaining medium and high vacuum. Its working principle is similar to that of a Roots blower, which uses two "8" - shaped rotors to rotate synchronously inside the pump casing to complete suction and exhaust.
The difference between the ZJP type Roots vacuum pump with overflow valve and the ZJ type Roots vacuum pump is that the ZJP type pump has a connected inlet and outlet, and a self weight valve is vertically installed on the channel. Its function is to maintain the pressure difference between the outlet and inlet within a controllable value, which is the maximum pressure difference allowed for reliable operation of the pump. Therefore, this type of valve is actually an overload automatic protection valve.
ZJ and ZJP Roots vacuum pumps are widely used in vacuum degassing, vacuum melting, vacuum surface treatment, low-density wind tunnel testing, electrical equipment, and vacuum freeze-drying equipment manufacturing in the metal and non-metal materials industry. When configured in series with water ring vacuum pumps and liquid ring vacuum pumps, these pumps are more suitable for vacuum polymerization, reaction, decomposition in the chemical industry, and vacuum distillation, vacuum drying, vacuum crystallization, and other processes in the food industry.

(8) It cannot be used alone and must be equipped with a front-end pump. It is not allowed to start under atmospheric pressure. It can only be started when the inlet pressure of the Roots pump is pumped to the allowable starting pressure by the front-end pump. Pre stage pumps are generally oil sealed mechanical pumps and liquid ring vacuum pumps, such as water ring pumps and oil ring pumps.
(9) Adopting unique processing technology, the parts have good interchangeability.
(10) Chemical nickel plating and Hastelloy infiltration can be applied to the gas flow area, and all stainless steel material can be used to resist corrosion from various acids, alkalis, and organic solvents.

1. Extreme vacuum refers to the lowest value of stable air partial pressure measured at the pump inlet using a compression vacuum gauge after sufficient pumping, without any additional containers or sealed pump ports, under the recommended pre pump conditions.
